STUDIO SEASON 2018: Mythical Futures
Myths - they echo from the past, meddle with our present and sweep us towards an uncertain future. The Studio Season returns in 2018 with Mythical Futures - rehearsed previews of two engaging plays in development by Ila Selwyn and Charlie Moore, writers from NZ playwright Gary Henderson’s Graduate Studio. Each play has a two-day open rehearsal (free to drop in and watch) followed by a ticketed evening script-in-hand presentation.

Gary Henderson is a playwright, theatre director and highly regarded teacher of writing for theatre, based in Oratia, West Auckland. His work has been published by Playmarket in New Zealand and Bloomsbury Methuen Drama in London. In 2013 he won the Playmarket Award in recognition of his significant artistic contribution to New Zealand theatre. He currently teaches at Unitec in Auckland, the International Institute of Modern Letters at Victoria University, and convenes the Graduate Studio in Oratia.
